it's worth a shot right grant ?

It's a shot in the dark, I know, but figured I'd put it out there to see what options may exist.

The neighborhood has really shot up in value over the past few years and houses are selling for $500k+.  

So I'm looking for some advice, settle in this is a long one.I was lucky to pick up two house in Grand Rapids a few years ago before prices shot through the roofHouse 1 has a 43k note and could be sold for 120K (I've lived in it more than two years with in a 5 year period so I can get out of the capital gains tax) leaving 77K in equality, but the house is currently nets $700 a month in rent.House 2 is right next door, has a 53k Note on it and could sell for 110k, leaving me with 45k after capital gains tax.

Longer Answer: If you do want to give it a shot you'll likely end up buying a "yield play" in flyover country and using a property manager. 

I might take a shot at bandit signs soon, I'll keep you updated!

So shot in the dark here but curious if anyone has any experience with backcountry cabins.

White House, Springfield, Gallatin, Franklin, KY, Bowling Green, Portland, Clarksville I'm thinking 5-25 units but that could change as I do more research I've gotten this far by asking dumb questions on BP so I figure it's worth a shot.
