Even then some things don't always fit and you have to come up with a work around.Hire a separate landscaper to finish it all up for better curb appeal**all in all was very happy with outcome & quality** Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

It was a multi-unit north of Brady St, which for just under $100k would normally be a steal, especially from the info on the I think four units that I had, but am now glad I didn't have my DL, as I'll finish explaining.

I've noticed in my area that houses that have been converted into 2 units tend to sit on the market for much longer and sell for much less than traditional single family houses with similar sqft and finishes.

I did it a few times and it didn't work out.. cost to build these days including prefab homes are not cheap.. you need to compare the median price per sqft in the area you plan on doing it..It may work if you purchase a prefab shell and get some sweat equity to finish it off..
