Just reading between the lines of your post, I’m going to make some assumptions, so forgive me if I’m way off…It sounds like you’ve grown up being mentored by your dad in his brand of real estate, so this is all you can see.

Find a mentor ASAP, obtain your real estate license at 18, and be patient while building your sales business.

I am also coaching and mentoring others to get started like me.

Build a strong network of mentors and industry professionals! 

In my experience, best case scenario you get 2 years out of each group as they're usually only looking to rent for Junior/Senior year. 

The person doesn't have to be a coach by profession but just someone who is experienced and willing to mentor. 

Looking for mentors to help with house hacking in University city 

Locate a mentor who can help you learn from their experiences and offer you individualized guidance.Even in an entry-level role, get experience by working for a property management firm or real estate investor.
