If you have your own business/self-employed you might qualify for a Solo 401(k) or multi-participant 401k whereby you can self-direct into real estate with those funds. 

Anything you do remote will come at a cost of operational inefficiencies and a higher cost of doing business.

Solar has an energy credit and Starlink is deductible as business expense. 

I've been on this platform for many years and, over the years, I've seen new members linked or part to Mexican real estate agencies posting educational content about investing in Mexico out of the blue shortly after becoming new members and then disappear as they realized that their efforts wasn't giving them the amount of business they were hoping for.

You would build a way better business.

And, again, eventually a strong business model/niche will show its numbers and then everyone will be doing it.
