If that plumber was working for that company when the permits were pulled and if the company regularly had the plumber pull permits on his own they very well could still be held liable for his actions.

@Jess AzongSo, if Title is held by the LLC and the loan is being issue to the LLC (good job in keeping it clean), the refi should issue the cash to the LLC.
