Hi everyone, I recently purchased a house and have no idea how I renovate this bathroom.

The exemption is for tax purposes/discounts, not the legal definition of homestead. 

These things hold their value amazingly well.If I had to guess, if you bought it for 40k and only used 9 or 10 times, the hours on the machine would be so low you could probably resell it for 35k or better (given that their retail value would go up over three years so the discount from say 48k to 40k might even mean you break even)..

Probably the same reason hotels sell their unbooked ADA compliant rooms at a discount. 

For furniture, thinkwhat maybe you have had in the past that you have had a while and maybe try tofind that at a discount.

Example: replacing the bathroom vanity.My question: If I were to take pictures and a video of the thing needing repair and show it to someone at Home Depot or Lowes, would they be able to guide me on what to buy and what to do?

Mainly buying up LTR'S for cash at a deep discount.

The house is a 3/1, just over 1000 square feet, and we are planning to make it a 3/2 by adding a master bathroom to the back of the house into the back yard.
