as you probably know houston has large oil and gas industry- specifically in my area there are many petrochem plants and such (ei: pipe yards, fabrication shops, drilling compnaies)

They are delicate.

But even if they're not on the market, a local fabrication shop could build you one pretty cheaply I would think.  

There's a delicate balance to selling the offer and not going on too much and losing them completely.

Companies refuse to fabricate it unless you are also planning on hiring them to install.On the otherhand you can actually order Corian pre-cut to your specifications and it starts at 20-25/sqft.
