@Sridhar D. that's a strange reason unless the tenant needs to fix their credit or save up for a down payment to qualify for a mortgage.If so, I wouldn't hold my breath that they will perform.

I've looked at TN briefly in the past and I didn't dig deep enough to see how the bids are applied to the other outstanding taxes.

They have the means to buy property as investments then they need to be much more knowledgeable of what they are doing compared to home buyers who dont live and breath RE.

I have seen this get ugly for people who end up being forced to move/sell and take a deep loss or struggle to FSBO because they can't pay commissions.2.)
