Should people in the bay rent for less because of the tech boom causing scarce housing? 

What will stop the Boom, as currently inventory is very low, prices are still rising.

For big projects developers often see less risk in large growth areas where booming development, populations, and income are already around them.It could be brokers know the site is too early and that they might be spinning their wheels making all these calls and end up with no money for their time.Still think a local commercial land broker might be best.
