While there's less bedrock to stand a defense by on this gut based approach, as long as the criteria that's compelling the denial or delay does not violate the law, it should be fine.I've been leasing property for 13 years and have dealt with pretty much every personality and all woks of life.

The fact that the property doesn't seem to be getting much traction makes me think it's because it's landlocked and maybe I could stand to make a profit by flipping it when I have to build an easement road anyway. 

It would be best to have someone you trust with knowledge in the area that could provide proper guidance on the current neighborhood as it stands!

Perform the same task in each app to ensure a fair comparison.Load a property with pictures and details.Market that property.See what your marketing looks like from the public's perspective.Submit a fake application to see how easy the process is.Run a credit/screening report on yourself.Enter a maintenance request, assign a vendor, and attach a fake invoice.Enter charges to the tenant's ledger.Enter recurring charges and automatic late fees.Sign documents electronically.Run owner reports.After testing a few apps, one should clearly stand out.

Once you pull out of a deal after you get it under contract the chances are that they'll remember your name on future offers and you wont stand a chance on picking up another through that broker.
