We prepare a move-in gift package that includes cleaning supplies (degreaser, carpet spot cleaner, vinegar, baking soda, magic eraser, disinfectant wipes), cutting board, plunger, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, presented in a cleaning bucket and reusable shopping bag. ($30)  At move-in we also loan the tenant the use of drop cloth runners (to protect the flooring on move-in day), furniture moving blankets, furniture sliders, furniture lifting straps, a step stool, and a picture hanging tool kit (with small hammer and picture hooks). 

No wastes, soaps, etc were found on the surface but again it was raining a lot prior to inspection.No info on water wells.

On Halloween our cars were the only cars in the lot that did not get the windows soaped.

-advise cleaning the kitchen nightly with soap and water.

We nearly replaced our dishwasher due to the soap we had used for years no longer working effectively.

I like doing the a/c & d/w. say no to shower doors, tenants do not like them. they don't want to clean the tracks or deal with soap scum on the doors and they feel that they are unsanitary.

I leave a package of soap in each dish in the bathroom tubs and sinks (or if there are soap dispensers make sure these are filled) and leave a small bottle of dish washing liquid by kitchen sink/small box of those dishwasher pellets in rental properties with dishwashers.

It would take a LOT of candles to do that though.Mild dish soap and water should remove it.

We had one place with horribly uncomfortable furniture, empty bottles of soap/shampoo, uselessly thin toilet paper, and a million inane house rules.

Some you can barely put a container of soap on they're so small!
