I volunteer in prisons in California all the time (in non-covid times, at least) and I'm really close with a lot of the inmates, and a lot of them are now getting out.

The work I volunteered to her is a one-time job, which is to clean the common bathroom and living room.

Volunteer for investors and see if you like it or not. 

Listen, learn and perhaps volunteer to help someone in the business. 

Police and volunteer officers maintain control in the area.

We can only build as fast as we can and volunteer our time with Habitat for Humanity if it comes down to it, but don't take on a personal crusade, it never really ends well.

Start volunteering your time if that's what you need to do to get into the game. 

@Marvin BobbThere is a demand when tenting in Toronto Canada and the GTA that many deals now have the renters volunteer to do post dated cheques.

I know there are real estate investor associations that will provide resources like connections/possible partners/possible volunteer opportunities/etc... but there is a charge annually to join, around $200-$300 and I am trying to gauge whether it is worth it or not or if I should just wait until I have enough myself. 

My wife and I personally renovated (with some contractor help) the 3500 sqft building, gutting kitchens, baths, adding bedrooms, bathrooms, painting, flooring.We did all this while:- Working 40-50 hours at our day job- Going to school full time at a business college with 15 credit hours a semester- Having a healthy marriage- Volunteering with our churchIf we can do it, anyone can!
