Tenant says it because when she cooks all the smoke alarms 🚨 in the house 🏡 go off.Of course I want her to put them back.What would you do ?

If the compition demands a higher refurbishment (counter tops, and cabinets) then do that, but just a refresh on this unit (from the pics) looks like paint and LVP might be enough.I'd leave the cabinets and counter tops brown (unless competition dictates redoing them).Also a daylight bulb in the kitchen of the highest wattage the fixture will hold might make the area look better when you show it.The less income the resident has, the more bulb wattage they seem to like in the kitchen (they cook at home more).Good Luck! 

One day I might take it on.The onerous eviction process where if your in Chicago or cook county in the winter your up the creek.  

You shall never pour cooking grease or other damaging/obstructing objects down toilets, sinks or drains.

I invest in the western suburbs, and NW suburban cook county. 

UPSTAIRS:  fashion styling retailer M2M, psychiatric office 1 year, OPEN SPACES: 1000 square foot, 5 rooms with receptions area (old dental office), small little single door office (200sq ft), Open space 500sq ft room, electrically fitted for culinary cook kitchen, but could be used for anything. 

McDonalds would not sell many burgers if people walked in, ordered a burger, paid for it and then had to pay the cook for his time.
