Sounds like the person knew what was going on with their credit report as they have filed reports in the past. 

Bloody oath I do mate.It's never their fault and always yours (Ours).They rarely take any responsibility and cry victim.It's crazy to think but it's like many intentionally look for drama and deep down inside don't want success but rather problems.Someone to dislike and blame and to feel wronged by.All other personal and "at home" issues can now be blamed on this one unfortunate scenario.This "drama" per se is like food for the hungry and they need such drama in life to "survive".My apologies if my above comments sound weird as they are more so from a philosophical standpoint and just some thoughts that I have considered after 5,000+ investor intro calls and as you have mentioned, others feeling wronged by me or my company on many occasions.What a $#@% way to live IMO but I don't judge and sleep in peace.Again, I have been "wronged" by many but consider it my own fault.I also don't call them out publicly or post bad reviews, etc... 

@Pranita Maldikar Unless the seller is a family member or personal friend, I'm not sure why you'd want to put that much money down on the property.

I've personally utilized private notes on three transactions and participated in another handful of negotiations with sellers on behalf of buyers in the past five years. 

As mentioned, we "openly and notoriously" record the deed for the world to see so there is no hiding things from the bank (which could be construed as fraud not to mention poses many other risks for creditor liens, etc.) 

If you wanted to fund a portion of the down payment would you suggest a hard money lender, personal loan, etc.?

I can think of a few BP-specific cases where the ability to delete a post makes sense:Noobs don't usually get the '@' feature right the first time, so I am constantly seeing double-posts so that they can properly call out the person.
