What is the ideal credit score lenders are looking for?

Calling me a "newbie" would give me too much credit, but I do want to house hack when we move, and then look into rental properties if I manage to be a decent landlord.

Have them sign lease at full amount, then give them a monthly rent credit.

How hard is it for a person with high credit score but no income, retired to get a loan?

You can run your own credit report on one of the big three like TransUnion and bring that to the bank.

Some credit unions or local banks offer portfolio loans that don’t stick to the 4-unit limit, which could work well here.

If you sign a lease with a nursery school teacher and CPA with credit scores of 800+ with a 3-year-old, what’s the likelihood that they will suddenly start cooking meth and destroying your property?
