Often, I have cash sitting around between opportunities and have looked all over for a bank that will hold the cash in some kind of interest-bearing account.

A 1031 exchange defers all taxes by reinvesting in a like-kind property, preserving capital for long-term investments but adds complexity and future tax obligations.

Smartland has recently expanded into the world of Student Housing and I am looking for some opinions on this kind of investment.Background:We have secured a building on a small college campus in Cleveland that currently does not offer student housing to its students on campus.

So if it can do that, shouldn't it be able to be pointed to any website of your choice, search through groups/posts/etc and communicate with anyone who displays some kind of "intent" to sell, and if no intent is found, it could generate "curiousity" and help develop some curiousity from anyone in the group, and it could do this, until all possible efforts have been exhausted over time. 

Im just interested in his strategy and im not seeing many people talk about BRRRR investing with incorporations of Section 8.Im new to the industry and just looking to follow the footsteps Nevertheless, Thanks for the input Yeah, I may have heard of him for Section 8 now that you mention it, but that strategy is not for everyone.
