I'd like to stick to one software and familiarize myself with it prior to the aggressive build.

For those that don't know the Aug 17th NAR settlement will now REQUIRE realtors sign a contract with their clients PRIOR to showing their first house. 

Usually an agent is guessing what a buyer will pay prior to listing a property, while an appraisal happens after the property has gone under contract at a certain price. 

What I didn't see mentioned in prior comments (probably becaue it wasn't specifically asked) was paying point or "buying down" the rate. 

My problem is that I know a former would-be purchser who got a preliminary title report from Chicago Title that read the owner--and three prior title holders--never had any legal interest in the property.

I am looking to rehab and then rent prior to refinance. thanks

I’ve got some tenants that have been in my units 10-15 years (prior to me buying them) and are at market level rents.

Run a full background check to see their credit score, prior evictions and criminal record.

I believe if you are asking if it's important to meet the tenant prior to them moving in so that you can build repoire, the answer is not necessarily.
