@Kent FordI agree with @Ryan Konen regarding areas like San Antonio’s outskirts, parts of Fort Worth, and growing cities like Tyler and Lubbock, which are becoming popular due to relative affordability and job growth.We will see an interest in smaller metro areas where prices are more accessible and a surge in new construction aimed at entry-level buyers.

I get it.. for homeowners this is a no brainier for apartment dwellers this is still going to be a challenge going forward. 

People still wanting to move out of the city.  

I did find some good data on city-data.com that I had forgotten about.

You cannot beat the power of an ADU for peace of mind, leveraging your home to pay less monthly and reduce your expenses and give you the experience and confidence of doing constriction, getting permits and working with the city and managing a very easy rental.

I also only post one property per city up on furnished finder, since it is a lead gen site and I just email all available properties with Airbnb links to the prospective tenants.

After  3.5 years we have permits for a 17 unit redevelopment project.We had hopes that we would break ground within a year of buying the property....that fell by the wayside for 2 reasons:1) we had worked with the city to increase density through an affordable housing scheme that did not go as planned.

We live on the opposite side of Canada for work right now relative to where this house/city is.
