We’ve noticed that three of the homes that have sold for comparable prices have been purchased by an older Asian gentleman who has come in and done minor rehab, and then rented out to what appears to be section 8 customers which has raised some eyebrows in our little community, but has put us in the mindset of that being a possible direction to go.

As Ian mentions, if you do a seller-financing deal with your parents, they will be on title as a lienholder and not a vested owner.

Also, I am female and the guy is an old-ish man, so I would probably have my partner with me if I were to approach him.The situation is that we will possibly be going under contract on a property that is currently in pre-foreclosure (if our offer is accepted).

The female moved out, and has asked to get off the lease.

We really only base it off gender so female only and male only units.
