Our "poor" people sit in their Section 8 rental watching Judge Judy reruns on their big screen tv while eating potato chips purchased with their SNAP card (food stamps) and occassionally chatting on their taxpayer-paid cellphone!

If it's because they are already working with someone then I don't see the need to waste the stamps.

The letters were hand addressed/stamped and this is a 5.9% response rate - so far so good.

The last time this happened the bank took the bills gave me a copy and stamped them.

We give tenants addressed, stamped envelopes for their rent.

None of them, EVER, got any government assistance in the way of Welfare, Health Care, Food Stamps, FDIC, etc...Basic Human Services?

Another option is to buy post cards in bulk (5000 or more) and place your stamps and labels on the cards on your own.

In the morning/evening I’d go get my envelopes, pre-hand-address the return address when I was watching TV, and stuff and stamp when they were ready.
