If the attorney recommends a set up that involves more than one LLC, get on the phone with your tax person and find out how much that is going to cost you for the tax returns, K 1 forms, payroll processing, etc...

They also provide an after hours phone line to report emergencies.

So I'm about to make phone calls to a couple friends who might become private lenders.

They are not good about answering emails or phone calls.

Anything longer than that you'll need to call the city and find out what is required, and sometimes that can take many phone calls until you get the right person.

I could essentially be flushing $1000 if it turns bad.Could be a toilet seal, could be a pipe busted under the slab.
