I just bought a condo and was able to rent it out immediately.The previous owner did a lot of upgrades to the condo and left their very nice stainless steel refrigerator and wine fridge.They also left a gas BBQ grill in the backyard which I didn't test to see if it's still functional.My new tenant moved in yesterday and texted me to ask me to move the BBQ.

Electric baseboard in a cold climate is a terribly expensive way to heat, perhaps second only to burning $1 bills in a cast iron stove.

I'm thankful he left when we told him to, the worst thing I think (besides not mowing the lawn for the 5 months he was there, and leaving piles of garbage) would be this: a huge industrial sized eye bolt used as the center support for the drapes, not sure if he was hanging iron curtains or what.

We'd obviously have to iron that out.I would be in charge of all maintence and he would be in charge of finding the renters.

From a logical standpoint, it seems like cast iron would be more durable, but I've read stories where the coating chips very easily.
