Hi everyone,I’m seeking advice on the best strategy to achieve a goal of $5,000/month in passive or active income starting with $200,000.I’m currently considering Texas, but I’m open to other states if they offer better opportunities.

I’m also passionate about learning more about investment opportunities in the U.S. and overseas as a Canadian investor.I've been with BP for about 6 years I think, but was never part of the forum and chats.

Don’t waste resources if you have the opportunity.

I just met two guys at my gym that wholesale but I have not had much of an opportunity to ask them any of my questions.

This amounts to lost opportunity because if you had purchased RE, at the closing it can start producing return. 5) ADUs detract from the existing structure whether this is privacy, a garage, or just yard space. 6) this is related to number 1, but there are many more buyers looking to purchase homes for their family than there are RE investors looking to purchase small unit count properties.

That kind of attention to detail can save a lot of headaches.Are you focusing on multi-family properties in SA only, or are you also exploring other opportunities elsewhere?

Not that there isn't some opportunity, but investing from afar, I don't really have the chance to get a crew that can do the rehab on the homes that I think would turn a profit. 

Some of the best opportunities can be found in other regions, particularly in markets known for strong rental performance, stable property values, and tenant demand.

Having lived in IN for 8 years before moving to Austin TX, I believe this city offers great opportunity now and much potential.

I don't want the opportunity to pass so I'm reaching out to family and friends who would potentially want to invest too.
