I'm from upstate NY and our town is in a depression economically.

To me, it just means there were areas that were so depressed, they were given away, so they had no where to go, but up.

I value my family and I feel God provided me with a great wife, and I was thankful for these things, but we were both working and we only got to spend a couple hours at the end of the day with each other, and by that time we were both so tired and honestly, I was so depressed, it wasn’t true quality time.

Me and my husband figured out that adding up the cap gain tax,  depression recapture and CA state tax make it a big chunk of the profit.

It reminds me of when I didn't pull the trigger on  4-unit REO in a depressed SoCal market and I was using FHA.

I have a property a few blocks up on Bergenline and while there are rarely vacancies, the rents are pretty depressed in the area despite all the new construction.

The area I am looking at is in a relatively depressed area that is likely headed towards an upswing here in Washington State.

So if someone depresses the drain plug, water can fill up and flood the bathroom.Is there a way to lock the drain plug so that it cannot be depressed?

It's a fairly depressed area with crime, unemployment, drugs, etc....BUT the real estate is very cheap and it rarely appreciates.

I don't like to generalize about any cities because most cities have their good areas and bad areas but Stockton in general is a very depressed city riddled with gangs and crime and that's where most unsuspecting people end up buying in Stockton.
