it just HAPPENED to rain the day before inspection.Water and dampness in the basement despite the seller saying it was fixed.I got spooked (well, it simply didn't make financial sense if I had to do all the inspection fixes to make it rentable AND fix a mystery leak in the basement that the seller had already tried to fix)The seller slashed price another 6k and I believe it's under contract with a local now.

He has a case manager that manages his medical care that I do know, so my next move was to try to contact the case manager at the ward and see of she can shine some light on this, matter.every deal is a mystery and you learn alot lol - I love cracking cases. :) 

First, please allow me to take some of the mystery out from around my strategy.

I remember in the 80's, when it was a big deal that pc's were coming into peoples homes, into schools, these big mysterious "things" that were something only at business's that few ever even seen and even less had ever used. 

I apologize if this is a noobie question.I am currently looking at a property in Collin county for a primary residence with a mysteriously low tax assessed value - half of all the other houses on the block.

After the inspector left, while uninstalled because of drywall drying, the toilet mysteriously was dropped on it's side shattering with major water spillage and going down into basement. 

However when I went to the public meeting about the issue the homeowners, while understandably annoyed and upset, are already attributing all kinds of mystery illnesses to this, which I believe to be bogus.Anyway, I have already told the tenants in the one occupied rental and they are cooperative and did not freak out or get upset about this.
