HERE'S WHAT I DID.As soon as I finished with the city clerk, I began making a series of telephone calls to any and every official in my city hall.I call the supervising abatement officer, I did not get any tractionI call my city councilman and his assistant said they will look into it.I called the mayor's office and yelled a lot.I called the city ombudsman and complained.

I would focus on single-family homes with assessed values / size near the neighborhood medians, non-corporate homeowners, that have owned the property for at least 10 years.I want to humbly stress though, I would not send any mail until you have a detailed call script, telephone capture system, follow-up system, and a direct actionable plan upon actually contracting with a homeowner.

I would definitely find a realtor to help you with the search as well as negotiating and the paperwork.You can also drive your neighborhood or the area where you want to live and look for multi-family properties and then find the owner's address or telephone number and contact them to see if they're interested in selling.
