Many times in older buildings especially those that have been partially remodeled we are dealing with a combination of EMT/metal boxes and NM-B/plastic boxes, and lack of EGC continuity and ground is a typical issue.

Examples - he built an unpermitted outdoor canopy for his tools that's connected to the main structure, reversed the laundry hookups to run outside rather than inside, converted an interior patio into a closet, and even worse put together a 'shanty' on the side of the house for someone who sleeps in the backyard (this was hidden under tarps and I discovered this - not my inspector).I contend that I have plenty of support for an eviction, but I discussed this with someone from a local apartment owners association, and she said that I wouldn't have a right to evict.

The screws probably go through the plastic inner panel into either sheet metal or another piece of plastic, and the screw has stripped out.

All three are considered consumer friendly for these cartridge replacements so no rocket science to them.Glacier bay is a home depot house brand,  cheap entry level products I'd recommend staying away from, I'd avoid almost any fixtures from the big boxes is you have the ability to order from supply houses, the same Moen  fixtures from home depot often have plastic parts where the  Moen's from the supply house will have all metal.
