My bigger concern is that he is asking for the rent/deposit before providing an official move in date. 

This is because this "new" address isn't on the official state filing.How the heck is someone supposed to start a business, and enter into contracts with a utility company or customers without first having a bank account? 

We went into contract officially last night and will request that info.   

I am excited to officially begin my journey in real estate investing in a few weeks and have made up my mind to stick this thing out and try and learn until it works.

I mean people with enough resources to make them workable but every single time I tell them the official process to make them work, they back out.In short, if you want to do one, you'll need to build two.

Today, property management called with the official notice that the landlord wants to sell the house we are renting.

I have plans and engineering ready to go, but have held off on official plan check as I can't seem to get a consistent build cost. 

IF I was going to do any of that, it would not be memorialized so as to suggest any kind of official business agreement.

I don't want to break any laws or official rules.Anyone know how that would work?
