When I initially started investing, my goal was to generate enough cash flow to quit my day job while I was young enough to enjoy it, not to "win the real estate lottery".  

All you need to do is cash out your retirement accounts and buy powerball lottery tickets.

But, I guess for some, whether it is motivation, the ability to connect with others or process information from different sources in different ways they receive value.But for 99.9% of those out there buying the guru products, you'd be better off buying lottery tickets with the money instead.In fact, I bet if anyone really studied the data we'd learn the state operated lotteries have created more millionaires per year than all of the gurus, coaches and others preying on the hopeful broke combined.

He lacked the financial IQ and investing experience that my other friend possessed.If i won the lottery, and suddenly had access of $1,000,000 dollars in tax free money.

I meet a lot of people who tell me how they wished they could win the lottery ... then I asked them if they knew how much money they would have, if they saved between $5 - $10 per day ... their jaw drops !!! 

Short of winning the lottery, though, there's no short cut to having a big wad of cash.

I can honestly tell you that the myth the gurus are spreading around that you can purchase REO properties at 50-75% of after repairs value is just as much a myth and as rare as hitting the lottery in California specially.
