These do require more time and organization though.Looking forward, after 5+ years of owning a property, assuming you bought in an appreciating area, you should have enough equity built up via tenants paying down your mortgage for you and appreciation to refinance out of the VA loan (if you haven't already) or even cashout to buy more or to supplement your earnings.Theoretically, if you have enough properties you could refinance at least one a year.

These sorts of shot-crete build homes are more standard than a bale or mud home but are still not standard like a stick built home.Geodesic domes are cool but harder to sell than a standard home.

The local law says that the non owner occupied property being rented will need a designated host that may or may not be the owner however that other line item in the code that stipulates that the host must be available within 30 min driving while the unit is occupied becomes the dealbreaker.
