@Cali Skier I think a lot of people ask and sometimes it can just mean they are happier dealing directly with the owner so things get done faster and no middle man.

The total cost was about $13K (tank removal, testing, permits and remediation) Prior to the soil testing, I was able to go to the city and obtain the open and closed permits that showed that the tank had been filled with sand.I think if I had known there was tank when I entered the transaction, I probably would not have made the offer on the house but I'm glad I did and even happier that they agreed to take care of the issue.Let us know what you decide to do.Kelly
