As far as the title goes, I'm pretty sure that it has to go in your name unless you form a land trust as an LLC naming you as the beneficiary.

If you don't get a good sense that you can form a trusting relationship with them, then likely not the team you want to get into business with.This has been said many times in these forums before, it doesn't matter how good a property looks on paper, it's the PM that can make or break the investment.

hello carl,ed reid here,what you may want to consider is sking the seller to hold a 2nd mtg,typically on multifamiy you are going to need 20 to 30%,you coild also form a limited partnership with other investors,you being the general partner,hope this helps
