This issue has been discussed several times in several forums, and what typically happens is that newer investors who are waiting on rehab or closing are disappointed in the amount of communication from the provider, and then all the old hats pop in to say that the reason there is so little communication during those processes is because there's no updates to give (I think Jay Hinrichs and Chris Clothier piped in on this issue when Chris A. first started this thread).

Price matterSI don't want to force a sale at this point I don't trust the seller, after misleading me about the number of permitted units, (I was disappointed but still willing to buy because it was still a good deal to me although it did need some work, which it was happy to do, I was looking for a project.)Also, never receiving the papers I asked for, which in this kind of a sale I don't feel like I was asking for anything out of the ordinary.

So it was a disappointment when they originally OK'd the 90% LTV and now discovered that's it's a duplex they've gone only up to 80% LTV.
