Just remember that you might have to look through quite a few situations to find a workable deal.

Yes a large majority of Port Arthur is widely considered D-, but there are a few pockets that are workable.

I'm typically offering around 70% of asking price in order to make workable numbers. 

There is no workable solution that keeps them in your property.

The real estate taxes in Illinois are very high as others have mentioned, but they are still workable depending on what type of return you expect. 

@Drew Brown  Sorry for the delay, busy season.....We do rent a few more remote properties (but not too far from office) and have turned down many....A main criteria that there would be some kind of phone service, land line or access...Many areas outside of the cities have shaky cell service so not being able to have someone contact us in an emergency, to me, is not workable. 

I believe that we all have strengths and weaknesses, play to both and build a system with solid goals, financial advice and a workable system and stick to it.
