I'd guess the number of JOBS created by REI CF is not large... and what the regulators have started to enable, they may well retract in the future.

@Dima DeSimone essentially what this means is that if your rental cap amendment passed with only 67% of the membership's vote (and not 90% which is commonly required to pass amendments related to "USE" of a condominium/community) then this case may enable associations to retract their amendments that were not passed by the proper number of votes.

Investing in syndications will protect your wealth from any market retraction or recession as multi family only has a fraction of the foreclosure or other related issues as do single family residences.

IMO - no, for a first time buyer you want to take action and move... a short sale or litigated case could keep you from taking action because you are waiting on them to materialize (unless you offer and then later retract).
