Hiring a professional they would use the same products; typically starting with spraying down the area (Suspend or Talstar P are excellent products) , followed by baits (Advion,  Max Force gel).

I got some gel bait off of Amazon (I think it was Advion). 

I'd drop some combat roach gel down the holes and cover them with a bit of thin wood paneling.
