And, within the REI space, you really need a specialist to ensure your books are structured appropriately and done correctly.

It IS much tougher to invest in the UK if you are going to flip for several reasons: 1.)

You'll see how much this inventory is complicated and you need an agent that understands that so you don't over pay or waive unnecessary protections on your contract that keep you from buying a bad building. 

Like others have said, I would suggest finding a successful team and surround yourself with them as much as possible.
