His QI is telling him the escrow would also be considered money received at closing but falls in a gray area if audited.

@Joel MoraThis is the area of real estate where most of it lies, which is in the gray area (unlike every guru telling you it’s black and white).

I know there's so much gray area and a lot of variables, questions, etc., but I'm just looking for any insight.
