You can just as well get married but say you'll be back someday keeping your right to come and go, no one should care, unless you've done a lease change about your space and that you are officially exiting.If None of these supposedly agreed upon things are in a lease, then you may have a problem, and lack the grounds to enforce lease violations.

However, just because I don't agree with it doesn't mean I am in favor of the Government being given additional power to enforce additional laws and restrictions that infringe upon our freedom.

Enforcement is apparently only done If someone complains.

I work in law enforcement so I already think about all the "what ifs" and worst case scenarios!!!...

That is the illegal part.Due on Sale though, is a civil matter, that the lender has the option to enforce or not.

Code Enforcement in my market has just recently started, as part of their tenant turnover inspections, to document the material composing the water inlet pipes where they enter into the basement. 

After the fire in 2016 damaged or destroyed more than 2,000 buildings, 16,000 acres, with 16 lives lost, I think they are trying to be better about enforcement.

Either you enforce the lease, or you don't. 

Forget about the late fees and payment plan, you'd be lucky to find any judge who would enforce it when the tenant showed they weren't even living there any more and were still doing their best to pay off the balance.
