I seem to have a hard time organizing these thoughts and trying to even simply write them down seems to be an impossible task.Hell, I've even left out much of my personal experience from conversations and even these posts as I have so much I want to say, but throughout the post I get distracted so much so that I leave out things even Alan reminded me of.

Don't get enamored and distracted with the shiny object...the deal has to make sense and be underwritten properly.

Given the facts and circumstances that you have mentioned, you'd benefit greatly by working on the stuff in your life that distracts you and is preventing you from reaching your goals.

Anyone can be a successful real estate investor if they have that kind of money coming in.Don't be distracted by others. 

Distracted by what all the other investors are doing?

There's SO MUCH knowledge out there - a LOT of it is noise and distractions.

Do you want your kids to be cold or hot and distracted in old school buildings in older cities vs in newer nicer schools in newer cities. 

It's a red flag that they are attempting to distract you from your screening process.

Find/Get a Team of members that are critical to help you get things done, are experienced at what you are doing, local, and will return your phone calls promptly.Another thing you ought to get done decides a plan and goals that are both written down and where you will see them and read them every day, have a office located where you will have less distractions.  

I do realize that the xbox is my biggest distraction and without it I can accomplish more of my goals.
