It’s a condo with short term rental income. 1 is the cottage we move into when we rent the house we live in for 2 months over the summer when the kids are out of school.

It is on over 10 acres with a 6BR/7BA main house, multiple guest cottages, outdoor event venue, and more.

My sister has a tiny fishing cottage on a little lake Papakeechie and she is booked solid from April to October every year.

Back in my days based in Germany & France there were enclaves of these very small  summer 'cottages' used as get-aways as the majority lived in cramped apartments in the city.

Might have been called"oak landing" and if memory serves the homes were around 400 sf and were super cute, cottage like, porches, minisplit ac's, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, little loft etc.

If I had a pizza shop that grossed me personally 100k in profits, I am sure there would be years that my cheese and tomato sauce expenses would increase. 

House and cottage: Purchase a property with a separate cottage or guest house and rent out the cottage while living in the main house.
