Perchloroethylene, also known as tetrachloroethylene, is a molecule containing chlorine atoms and carbon atoms.

On one hand it is nice to have the hands off approach when it comes to landscaping, exterior maintenance, pool cleaning and savings on products like chlorine, gas and time for lawns, etc.

But most pools are in basements and now you've got chlorine and moisture issues you have to deal with or it could affect the rest of your cabin.Hot tubs are an absolute must.

I have an above ground pool in my back yard, gotta keep the filter clean, backwash the pump and maintain the pH and chlorine. 

I do add a 1/2 cup of chlorine to the 450 gallons after the little ones have been in it for awhile just in case :)

Ditto to oil based Killz.I've also used products to kill organic odors such as Chlorine Dioxide(CLO2).

Tenant should keep the pool chlorinated, shocked, swept and vaccuumed.

It tested positive for chlorine.

The material is broken down by chlorine in the water.

But the tenant was prone to using spray chlorine & one of those green scrubbing pads to clean the counter tops & the use of a cutting board would have helped prevent compromising the surface.
