Nina M. Cannot decide where to buy, DFW, Indy, Atlanta or Charlotte?

Indy is still going with decent returns, and you can get returns in Atlanta and Dallas and maybe occasionally in Charlotte, but those three cities hit their heydays in ~2011-2012 so now you'd be paying astronomically higher prices than you would have when they were the popular markets (and probably why you've heard them mentioned so much).

Here in my area of California, those would be astronomical charges if we had a Cleveland winter here but it seems rates are much better in the Midwest, even though usage would be much higher.

Individual cases aside, if your risk is too much of the probability (such as East Rift Zone 1), you eithth have grandfathered policy, uninsurable or premium is astronomical.

If the difference in price isn't astronomical I'd try to replace as much as you can with all the pipes exposed.You will thank yourself later when you don't have to open a wall to replace galvanized piping that is full of scale and clogged.Thx,Chris
