In my experience, "secrets" are just obvious investing strategies that smart people have already (or will) figure out, and less intelligent and less motivated people will never figure out.And you can tell a less-intelligent and/or less motivated person anything (including all your "secrets), but they are unlikely to implement them due to their lack of intellect and/or motivation.As another example, I used to play poker professionally, and after some big tournament successes, I got asked all the time by newer players if I would mentor them.

I'm more of a tournament player, havent' been able to grasp cash game.

Why do major bass tournaments circits have events during this time of year?

For a year or two during the poker boom, I did the big tournament circuit and made a couple TV appearances (including my worst moment -- coming within one card of winning a World Series of Poker bracelet and then losing to the guy who became the youngest World Series of Poker bracelet winner ever at the time)...

I just got my application for IDPA as well so I'll probably see Mike at a tournament at some point.

My wife is a corporate mucky-muck with a Trust Company and not only was me being gone so much a strain on her, but I wanted to be here for my kid’s baseball games, soccer game, volleyball tournaments etc., so I jumped out in 2012.
