I was at the Marcus & Millichap's Southeast forum a few weeks ago and Buckhead and Downtown have a 10 year absorption supply in the pipeline to be delivered in the next 2 years.

We've found the most success the midwest and southeast in markets that still cash flow very well, but also see strong appreciation in both rents and home values.I think you are off to a great start to research a new market to invest in.

Hi @Steven Jaszcz - I'm in the downriver area, but work throughout southeast Michigan.

The market around me (Southeast Connecticut) is one of the most expensive places to live in the country. 

My office is in that area, but just not enough of a motivator for me to seriously invest there when there are tons of great locations in the southeast.
