Consider vinyl trim in the future as it can withstand moisture.

Mold remediation is addressing the moisture problem, paint over any discolored areas with Killz and put fresh paint in your color over the encapsulant.

It might be cracking and heaving inward which might require both dealing with exterior ground moisture and also stabilizing the foundation from the inside with one of a few options.
