There are other options like Citi and Navy federal that offer secured cards that graduate but some take a long time to graduate.

Navy Federal, as an example, needs a long time to close and requires tax returns, but has a 20 year draw and a 20 year payback period…takes much longer than others, but that payback period is amazing.  

With the Navy in town there should be a higher number of VA mortgages there.
