I have had a storm hit while in a similiar situation who pays for the uncovered damages was a issue seen differently by some siblings

It could be that a planned brrrr with an unexpected costly surprise uncovered during rehab could change its course to a flip if it becomes too tight in order to keep the capital recycling.

Rentals, in the beginning, is little money and flips look so nice because of the larger profits.
