Statutorily raising the cost of labor above what the free market will bear will likely worsen unemployment, drive business toward automation and robots, and worsen the lack of opportunity of many of the unskilled and lower classes.  

I recently decided to create my own letter to market with but could not decide if it was more important to get the point across and not seem so much like a robotic dialogue or have it be professional with a border and logo etc..

I want to invest in real estate, however after creating my monster of a spreadsheet to analyze potential deals, I am finding that I have no way of knowing what a real after repair value would be.

At my age I dont want debt.. so does not have to be a monster number 3 million in paid for assets  Like first trust deeds at 10% plus my SSI and medicare and all my homes paid for that would be a comfortable life I think .. for me we did all our big travel over the last 25 years.. so a nice mountain cabin a little fly fishing.. some sun in the winter..  

Great Response Anish, I feel SF, Bay Area will continue to see various technology waves over the next many decades, the most recent being Apple, Facebook, NVidia, Google, Dropbox, Pinterest, Uber etcNext will be Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Self driving cars and things we can't even imagine and predict at the moment!

When Walmart, IKEA and alike can always hire more robots to replace people who demand a living wage?

I would think of something more personal and something that they can feel like you are actually a human being rather than just a robot typing a letter.

AIR is very heavy-handed and authoritarian, and their tech support is poor.....you will rarely if ever get an English speaking tech person and they are like robots and pretty useless.

Then a moment went by, realizing what he's done, like the incredible hulk morphing into a monster and back, smile at me and said "oh, I mean we don't party".
