Everyone is looking for a market predictor tool for MTRs and so far no one has produced one.

There are some really great podcasts that talk about different things, and there are actually quite a few vendors that produce content (podcasts, blogs, webinars, etc) that can educate you a ton.

In those cases, if the HOA assessment is a direct result of the insured loss, it can kick in a specified amount towards the individual HOA members portion of the assessment.  

What do you want as an end result?

We appealed 16 properties this year and have gotten 12 results so far with $116,454 reduction in values and 4 more pending the hearing.

When all was said and done, the design firm cost me north of $100K in losses , some of which was caused by the drawn out design process resulting from being in the dark due to the forgery.

Additionally, because of court time, requirements, etc. they result in  higher legal fees. 

This will impact the rents on your current home when you move to house hack.I believe the MTR/STR market in San Diego has suffered similar impacts as many other STR markets resulting from the fed trying to slow the economy.
